Editorial Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This policy explains how Latest Robot News reports, verifies, corrects and labels the material we publish. It applies to every language edition of the site.
1. What we publish
We publish news, technical explainers and data-driven analysis about humanoid robots, robot components and industrial automation. We do not publish opinion pieces presented as reporting, and we do not publish material we cannot attribute.
2. Sourcing
- Primary sources first. Company announcements, official datasheets, regulatory filings, standards documents and direct statements from named people.
- Attribution. Every factual claim about a product, a price or a shipment figure names where it came from. Where a number is an estimate, we say so.
- Verification. Figures that look implausible (for example payload-to-weight ratios outside the current state of the art) are checked against at least one independent source before publication.
- No invented quotes. We never fabricate a statement, an interview or a spokesperson.
3. Use of AI
We use software, including AI-assisted translation and summarisation, to speed up production. Human editors review every article before it is published and remain responsible for its accuracy. AI is not used to generate quotes, sources, interviews or photographs of real events. Where an image is illustrative rather than documentary, the caption says so.
4. Accuracy and corrections
When we get something wrong we correct it promptly and transparently. Substantive corrections carry a dated note at the foot of the article describing what changed. To request a correction, email editor@latestrobotnews.com with the URL and the specific claim; we respond within one business day. We do not delete articles to hide errors — if a story is withdrawn, a note explaining why remains in its place.
5. Independence and commercial content
Editorial coverage cannot be bought. Advertising, sponsorship and any other commercial arrangement are labelled and kept visually separate from editorial content. Advertisers have no influence over what we cover, how we cover it, or when.
6. Authorship
Articles carry a byline and a short author biography describing relevant industry experience. Where a piece is compiled by the editorial team rather than a single author, it is signed by the editorial team.
7. Privacy and data
We collect only the information needed to operate the site and its newsletter. We do not sell reader data. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe from any issue.
